Dr. John C. Hanson
Dr. John Hanson attended The Ohio State University and Fenn College of Engineering at
Cleveland State University, where he completed his undergraduate studies with honors, earning a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree. Prior to attending dental school, he worked for the NASA John Glenn Research Center and the General Electric Company.
Dr. Hanson decided to return to school for his dental degree, and graduated with honors at the top 5% of his class at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He practiced general dentistry in Charlotte before attending the University of Rochester, Eastman Dental Center, where he received his certification in Orthodontics. During this time, he not only was admitted to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, but was also awarded the American Association of Orthodontists Award.
He and his wife, Michelle, have five children: two girls and three boys. He enjoys family life, outdoor activities, such as fishing and hiking, and home improvement projects. He is actively involved in our community, his church and Little League sports. He also currently serves as an officer in the Forsyth County Dental Society.
